It was a new experience which turned out to be great. Its a small cozy place (library) where you can read for free, buy books. There are plenty of books available and they have food and drink option too. The interiors is great. Items in the Menu are expensive but fir 1 time its not bad trying.
Its a bit difficult to find this place as its located a bit inside and easily not noticeable but google maps will come to help. We had a hard time guiding taxi to pickup but other than that this place is gem for book readers and people who want to be at peace.
It is a delightful blend of cozy bookstore and charming cafe. The amazing view enhances the serene atmosphere, perfect for indulging in a good read or a delightful meal.
Also, Their carrot cake is a standout - moist, rich, and utterly delicious. It's a must-try for anyone visiting. Coupled with friendly staff and a unique menu, my experience at Champaca was both relaxing and memorable.
The concept was great. Though, they'll only have desserts or hot beverages in food menu. But, all of them are worth it.
Highly recommend for a peaceful escape into the world of books and culinary delights!
Loved the overall vibe and experience during my first visit to this cozy little store. The bar-styled table at the other end of the bookstore (rhat face the windows into which a gorgeous tree peeps) was a brilliant touch. So were the wall-to-wall book shelves and the sliding ladder, which I made a good use of!
Didn't sample the food and drinks on offer, so can't comment on that.
One downside was that the store is small, and can get really crowded with even 5-10 people roving through the bookshelves. The collection of books exceeded expectations, and it would be unfair to compare this metric to that of Blossooms.
Would love to pay another visit soon!
If reading is your favourite hobby to do , and you want a peaceful atmosphere do visit , champaca . Located on top of a private residence champaca offers you a serene and calm atmosphere. You can read books from their collection, buy them , and enjoy ur favourite read over a cup of coffee or tea. They also sell bookmarks and other book related stuffs .
The place is very beautiful and it will instantly calm you down. Unfortunately, if you want to work here on weekends which might involve your laptop, you are not permitted. And, since this information was no where mentioned on their Google listing, I had to go back. It was my first visit to Champaca. I had heard about it a lot from my friends, and I have been buying from them for a very long time. So, I decided to go to the outlet and work from there. It was definitely a disappointing experience. I would encourage everyone to go to their outlet because it's beautiful and dreamy but not on weekends if you have to work on your laptop.
Quaint little bookstore off Cunningham road with some incredible garden views.
They also have a lovely little cafe with snacks and pastries that complement their selection of books.
A very unusual book store with a great collection, they have a separate section for children’s books and a whole section for local authors. Very friendly staff and I can easily spend hours here! A definite must visits
Very small place. But cozy.
Great collection of books in the library.
Cafe has limited menu.
Loved the overall vibe.
What a wonderful place to spend your entire day.
I’m not much of an avid reader, but I truly loved the vibe, wide collection of books, the silence, decor, honestly whatnot.
Love that they have a nice cafe too. Haven’t tried the food but look forward to next time.
